So we went in for our ultra sound today, and we found out we are having a little boy! We are so excited. I was not that surprised, I had a dream when I was about a month along that the doctor told me it was a boy. We are just so happy and it was so fun to see our son. He moves around a lot. The technician told us that we have a wild one on our hands, which does not surprise considering Derek cannot sit still for more than an hour... Our baby boy was twisting and turning and kicking off of my tummy. I think I can finally feel him moving, but only at night when I am really still and laying on my left side. I cannot wait for Derek to feel him move. We were sure we were going to name him Davis, but now that we know we are having a boy we are not sure. We also like Benjamin and Logan. What do you think? Oh, and my due date got moved up a week, so I am now 16 weeks and 2 days which puts my due date on June 20th.

I love all the names. Logan is pretty cute. Don't at all feel obligate to "Davis". Just figure out who this little guy is and which name fits.

I think we are leaning towards Benjamin Davis Scott or Logan Davis Scott. I like Benjamin because it has so m any alternatives; Ben, Benny, Benji... We still have 6 months to figure that out. Which actually doesn't feel very long... I like Logan and Benjamin because they are unique but not weird.
Hi Mary...I love your blog and your pictures. Congratulations to you and Derek. I love Bejamin and Logan. Both names go great with Davis Scott. Julie and Tim gave all three of their's the same middle names, which is Lane, and is also Tim's middle name. Hugs!
Hi Sherryl. That's a cute idea to give all three the same last name. We wanted to name our son Davis for the first name, but then we realized that everyone will just call him Dave. Not that that isn't a nice name, we just wanted something with a bit more pizazz. Love you guys and hopefully we will see you soon.
I LOVE Davis. I think kids these days are used to different names. Donna has a "moonlight" and "journey" in her class and another name I can't ever pronounce.
Also, June 28 is an awesome birthday. Can you hold on until then? It would make for an great b-day present for me.
Patty, My original due date is June 28th so who knows... But I want this little guy to be here. I am so anxious to meet him it will be hard to wait 5 more months! The only reason we aren't 100% sure about Davis is because we do not want people to call him Dave.. Nothing against the name Dave but we did want something a bit more unique!
